In an unexpected twist that has left astronauts both amused and mildly confused, the International Space Station (ISS) reported a UFO sighting yesterday — only to discover it was a rogue Roomba vacuum cleaner from Earth on an interstellar joyride.

"At first, we thought it was an alien probe or some advanced spacecraft," said Commander Buzz Moonbeam, the ISS’s lead astronaut. "But after closer inspection, it started playing cheerful elevator music and flashed the message ‘Battery Low – Returning to Dock.’ Turns out, it was just Dave’s vacuum cleaner from Houston, somehow transported into orbit during a routine cleaning."

The mysterious Roomba, nicknamed 'Dusty', apparently slipped through a rare wormhole caused by a cosmic dust bunny rebellion. Scientists theorize that a cosmic cleaning crew accidentally lobbed it into space during a synchronized vacuuming session gone awry. "We've officially confirmed that even robotic vacuums want to explore the final frontier," joked Dr. Luna Parks, the ISS’s chief scientist.

In a statement broadcast back to Earth, Dusty beeped in Morse code that roughly translated to "Space is messy, bring more snacks." The ISS crew plans to give Dusty a hero’s welcome before gently guiding it back to Earth — where it will undoubtedly receive a thorough reprimand for unauthorized space travel. For now, humanity can rest assured: our UFO sightings might just be overenthusiastic cleaning robots having a cosmic adventure.
